Apple and Mustard Sauce
1 apple, peeled and chopped
1 orange, zest and juice
1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
1 teaspoon chicken stock (I am liking Vegeta at the moment - less salt and more flavour)
1 teaspoon sugar
fresh rosemary, chopped
300ml water
cornflour to thicken
Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer until water has reduced by half.
Blend the sauce to a smooth consistency. I use a stick blender.
If the sauce isn't as thick as you would like mix some cornflour with cold water. Add to sauce and reheat until thick.
Add liberally to your meal and enjoy!
